"Tribute to Amarok" | genre: Dance | |

What can you do with an old Solton/Ketron keyboard, an electric guitar and a painfully slow Pentium 2 MMX 233 MHz PC? Some great music, as this piece shows. It's a remix/cover of some themes from "Amarok", a masterpiece by Mike Oldfield.

Story Behind the Song
This track was made as tribute to Amarok and as entry for an Amarok remix/cover competition held on a Mike Oldfield mailing list of the same name.
Amarok probably is Mike Oldfield's most eccentric composition. A single piece, 60 minutes in length; a colourful mixture of beautiful and weird parts. You definitely need more than one listen to get into it, but it's worth it!
