	Story Behind the Song We as a nation have somehow been desensitizes to the horror and the real pain of war that TV news can not convey. The Gulf War was a video war and we were transfixed on the inevitable outcome which was never in doubt. The next war in Iraq against a smaller underdog nation with a lesser military force is one that the outcome is inevitable. The cost factors on both sides in lives and infrastructure destruction could be devastating. Who will fill the leadership void and what will it take to maintain order after the war. Our relationship with other nations in the world will be altered by this conflict. We will be using the rules of power not the rules of law. Until the day comes when we have respect for all lives, especially innocent children we will never know peace though we may experience shallow victories. We will mark our offspring with the curse of Cain . They will bear the vengeance sevenfold as it is written in the Bible. My songs are like prayer beads.
