	Story Behind the Song This is apparently an obscure piece by Mrs. Schuman that has never before been recorded. For me, it shows another side to the 19th century female composers, who are usually known only through their church hymns. Lyrics Lov'st thou for beauty? O love not me; love thou the sunshine, Tis beautiful always. If youth thou lov'st; Then love not me! Love thou the springtime, then youth comes every year. Lov'st thou for treasure? O love not me! Nymphs of the ocean have pearls beyond compare. If for love thou lov'st, Ah! then love me! I will love thee, Yes, for eternity!
