	Fans of Larry Heard's 1980s output as Mr Fingers will recognise the sounds in this retro-ish piece of synthy techno. Cheeky drum programming and punchy ring-modulated bassline roll along under the strings and melodies.

	Story Behind the Song This actually took ages to make - for a long time I had the beat and the bass sound (which is meant to be a Juno 60, even though I sold my Juno 60 a few months back!). Every time I tried to add more to it, though, it kind of spoilt the old-school sound. Eventually I managed to gather the resolve to go back and start again from scratch, getting rid of the more modern noises and completing the track. The specific aim was to make something that sounded as if it was produced in the mid or late 1980s, with heavily compressed Linn snare drums and punchy, audacious synth bass.
