JD Plays a acoustic solo written over the years by him, all in one take no tricks, no clicking in, one take all the way through. This recording is his 3rd take, it turned out to be a keeper. Mistakes and all. |

Story Behind the Song
This solo was started in the 80's jamming with Skippy (Scott) He is a friend who jammed with Jeremy and started out as one of JD's onlookers and ended up at Jimmy Joe Gores lessons with JD and Matt Klein, another influenial person on JD's Guitar playing. JD, Matt, Jack Barger, Curt Ammons and Stacy Jones (American Hi Fi) were in a band called Emerald Hawk. This solo started from the Rush influence of alternate notes of a major scale. And built up over the years......
