    Story Behind the Song
This is an ode to the B.M.V. So many people complain about the B.M.V. that I just felt a song must be written. We feel that this is a song that EVERYONE can relate to because EVERYONE has had to wait in those long lines and gotten the run-around. Please don't take this song personal if you work at the B.M.V.! This is our most popular and requested song and can be heard on 96.3 WJAA in Seymour, Indiana. It is also on our CD. Listen to the funny background vocal track on the bridge! Next!

    Lyrics
I walked through the door and she said "please take a number ma'm and we'll answer your question then.
So I sat down in a chair and I listened to the tales of wrinkled old men.
Wasted quarters, a billion miles to tap my toes for a really long while.
Parking meters, newspaper readers to tap my toes for a really long while.
I'd rather spend a night in jail than hang out at the B.M.V
"Well sorry ma'm we can't help you", I say "lady, you come around here too"
Let's see how wonderful life can be when we hang out with the chicks at the B.M.V
I can paper my walls with your letters.
I'm tired of tearing on the perforated line.
I'm tired of dialing your number.
My license is now mine, all mine.
Until I dealt with you my life was fine.
Don't ever try to call because you see, you'll get a machine that's all.
Don't go alone. It isn't wise. To see the faces of women of stone.
I'd rather spend a night in jail than hang out at the B.M.V.
