    Story Behind the Song
Me and Jeff first came up with the chorus to this song like 2-3 years ago, but we couldnt sing very well.. SO it sat around awhile as an idea. This summer me and charlie tried to work on it, but some of the volume levels were screwy so we scrapped it and I met with jenny to work on the vocals... Then i was sitting around the other day wondering what I could work on next and remembered that I had this still... So I wrote these verses and got it done...

    Lyrics
    [Chorus]
    {Jenny Lee}
    Remember Back In The Day...
When you used to say my name...
    Remember Back In The Day...
Why`d you ahve to go away..
    Remember Back In The Day...
All the things you used to say...
    Remember Back In The Day...
Why can`t things jsut be the same..

    {Nu Hurizon}
As i grew up, i was crushed
    wouldnt amount to much
    now rhyimg has me blush
to expose all of this stuff../
    These feelings in rhyming
revealin all that i was Hidin`
    From dispising guidance/
to surprising cats with Nu Hurizon...
As i grew old i felt alone like a loner
cuz i didn`t take shots or do pot and become a stoner.../
School had people making fun of me in classes
for what i wore and i looked different cuz i had glasses.../
    liars are the providers
    for being an outsider..
Thats why this writer decided to try to be a rhymer/
    What an impact contacts had,
attract female cats, but but somehow I still react so mad
At everythign in the past, I cant get over that
An outcast who surpassed the vast majority of trash/
    that surrounded my position,
    Hounded about the aquisition
    of this condition
Of how i sound now with my color missing.../

    [Chorus]

    {Nu Hurizon}
    A transition.
Its time for a life decision
About this ambition to become a musician.../
not for recognition, but to evolve as a man
A rhyme orphan, born with a shortened Chance to musically expand /
Try to close eyes when it comes to my rhymes
Otherwise won`t be able to break ties with my kind/
Understand naturally I`m not blessed for success
cuz when compared to the rest, who flo too... i`m colorless.. /
Stress has me not wanting to do any recordings
Makes me want to drop the mic, and live my life boring/
Experiences and emotions are what made this start
Not women, cars, or dreams of being an eventual star.... /
I just portrayed these limits that are made,
Its my crusade that within minutes i break em today../
    When it comes to floin`
    I’m gonna keepin goin`
    i have alot of growin
    waiting for my preimier showing.../
Maybe get signed, probably i won`t
and to everyone who hates, i`ll be a joke,.../
But then again, i dont write this for you
it is the only way for me to express my virtues../

    [Chorus]

    {Nu Hurizon}
    Death has deceived
All us affected directly as friends of Smitty/
This sad act has more than half us down
    Faces react with frowns
Dont feel the same but I could prob`ly rock a happier sound/
A scenerio like this is a tearjerker
For all who know Smitty, in life he was a hard worker/
Cause this thing called dying` shows lifes surprises,
Now we crying` about people who death entices/
    When we see lighting`
    I know its you smilin`
    We all strugglin' and strivin`
Knowing that you’re up above shinin`
    Now We all stay united,/
    Make note, an observation
    This situation.
    Is a daily complication
    Of life’s operations.
Which Gives life and then takes em`
They aint reach they destination with no pause or hesitation
No preparation dealing with the cycle of creation
    Quit playing life that`s making
You hate it for death relations/

    [Chorus]

    [Hook]
Remember the days and how sad
    it is that you passed,
and tears fall like it`s raining....

Now these days we have the chance
    to look at the past
    and see how we`re changing....

There`s No need to even ask
at last we have the task
    to rebuild whats remaining....

Remember the days and how sad
    it is that you passed,
and tears fall like it`s raining....
    No complaining..
    Rearranging...
Playing with praying has me saying...

    [Chorus]
