	Story Behind the Song I was working on a commission painting of the face of Christ on Veronica’s Veil, based on the Shroud of Turin. I started this song as part of my New Years resolution to be a creative voice for peace in the world. This is how I pray in my own way through my paintings and songs. I really felt the anguish of many people when battle brought death to Bethlehem. There was a bell ringer who was shot on his way to the Church of the Nativity. I put a black tunic on my painting of Christ and painted the pain over and over on His Face while working on this song. I felt his pain! Too many takes to count.
