    Story Behind the Song
This song was written a little too late or early I suppose for spring fever. It's a song about how spiritual communion can hit much more than any physical impact. This was recorded live at The Gig in Hollywood, CA on Oct. 2, 2002.

    Lyrics
In the midst of my great distraction
All the depths of my attraction
    Grow in multiplicity

To prevent mistakes we might be making
    In this massive undertaking
    Honesty will make for simplicity

    I took too many chances
    In infatuated trances
    Each cast by stolen glances
    Of a mere enchantress
    Wasting my time
    Waiting in line
With all these silly girls of mine
Well I guess the lessons all were fine
    But they were to me
    Mere company
Biding my time till sweet serendipity
    Crash soul collision

It’s nice to have someone else who’s giving
Thought I’d spend my whole life living
With someone who couldn’t give enough

I know they’ll be some complication
Between the smile and the elation
But that’s an honest look at love

Repeat chorus [without the crash soul collisions]

None can dodge the bullet and circumvent
The intention of this fortunate accident
    Yeah

    Crash in a soul collision
Gotta believe that the sole condition
I’m gonna use in making my decision
Is whether it’ll be fusion or fission

    Crash soul collision
