This song is actually a recording from a live radio interview on WKNC 88.1 in Raleigh NC. It was cleaned up a bit to remove interference in reception. We typically play this song as electric, but have received a lot of positive comments from this acoustic version. Remember, it was not produced in the studio...just cleaned up a little from live airplay. | MP3.com CD: -To Nowhere- - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
Journal entry:
Help; June 4, 2002
I never understood the whole suicide thing. It pisses me off to see someone give up, when everyone else has to face everyday life. I'm trying to understand why he killed himself. What was so different about his life? Maybe I can try to put myself in his shoes.........I don't know. May you rest in peace brother.
Lyrics
Help
I am feeling this rage
A little voice it says
I'm a freak in a cage
I know that now it's over
I'll grip a twelve gauge
And shake from thoughts within
I'm running away, I'm running away
Because it grows in me
I knew
since you tripped on me
I'm through
Laugh and point at me when
You pass me by with all your friends
This world you live in
I know I'm strange
Judge me now you sinner
You always turned your heads away
From me who gives in
I'm running away
I'm cutting my skin to reach for love within
I'm starting to whine
I'm crying out, pity me
You won't understand
The joy that it brings me
It makes me grin
When it happenes again
Because it grows in me
I know since you tripped on me
I'm through
(chorus)
Dear Mom, Dad and all my friends
I feel that I'm at the end
And to the ones that turned their heads
I'm lost, well I'm dead
(chorus)
