	Story Behind the Song "My Lover" is a song written as both a message to all the men in the world who cheat and an apology to the women who have to deal with that cheating man. It seems that in order for one's point to be heard one has to throw oneself into the actual situation, whether it be true or not. As with this song, though it does not apply to my life (in every aspect of the song), it does so in that I can relate to the situation at hand. I wrote the song while living in New York. It took about an hour to write the song, both music and lyrics. The songs inspiration came from a couple that didn't seem too happy in love. As the stroy came out about the two, it turned out that the man had ventured outside the home and fell victim to his own circumstance. He now lives to support both situations.
