    Lyrics
    MAYBE SOMEDAY

1.We sang in the harbour most Saturday nights,
And not a dry eye could you see
From the antics of Dumper, to the songs of the sea
From Belfast we were set free
We sat on the hill over-looking the sea
As the road to Kilkeel passed along
By Bloody Bridge near the path to the top
    Cottage awaiting for me

2.Taking a trip to a Feis in the south
    We passed the invisible wall
And no-one spoke to the SLR
Poked through the window at me
Oh where are you now sweet mountains of Mourne
You no longer sweep to the sea
For the cottage lies dormant as a memorial stone
And only the path still runs free

3.How things have changed in the blink of an eye
Is stranger than fiction to me
From the friends I had then, to the friends I have now
Are the leaves on the life of a tree
So now I sit on a different hill
Watching the sun hit the sea
From a city of sails at the end of the earth
    Say hello from the antipodes

4.I've travelled around, been every place
Not much more to be seen
From the Antrim glens to the ruins of Rome
And the plains of the Serengety
My heart is at home in a restless sun
Though the light and heat still my feet
Maybe someday we'll pass on the road
    Maybe someday we will meet

So now I sit on a different hill
Watching the sun hit the sea
From a city of sails at the end of the earth
    Say hello from the antipodes
