	Story Behind the Song On a visit to Japan, the calm of the Gardens. Inspired by the sound of water and a bamboo stick hitting a hollow log, a Japanese garden ornament. It's taken two years to finish, one year to write and one to record. About 40 takes Lyrics Gardens of Kyoto I saw a butterfly and then a bamboo water stick crack Dropped an ancient stone into the ripples of my mind A lazy dragonfly drifts slowly through the swaying reeds A gentle searching sigh, floats in unheard upon the breeze It's a wonder to see a place like this Inside that flow There might be a better life And then we'd know Gardens of Kyoto.
