	Story Behind the Song I came home from work one evening during a snow storm. I got into the house and said to myself, I don't want to go out there and shovel that snow. I'd rather stay in the house where it is warm and cozy. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said I was loved, safe and secure in the house that all that "stuff" was on the outside of the window. It did not effect my relationship inside the house. I started thinking about Noah on the Ark and what he was thinking while the storm raged outside the Ark. This is the song the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart. Lyrics Noah was heard to say one day as he looked out the window of the Ark, he saw the rain falling, heard the wind howling and he was heard to say, I'm on the inside looking out, I'm on the inside looking out, I can stand and shout and give GOD glory all-about because I'm on the inside looking out.
