	Story Behind the Song The basic structure was developed while on retreat. I have been working in DADGAD, mostly with a flat pick. Experimenting with finger-styles this one came out. While playing it on the porch of my retreat cabin, I realized that the song was for our little one, lost late in pregnancy. On that realization, I wept for half of an hour. Hence the title, Little One Gone.
