    Story Behind the Song
Originally a song belonging to Alastair's solo set, "Somewhere I Can Hide" was adapted for WANG (i.e. genders were switched around) and here 'tis!

    Lyrics
I once knew this guy in primary schoo you know,
I never asked him out because I thought he'd never give me a go.
When I did he said he'd rather be my friend,
But he would've if I'd asked him way back then.

And I know, luck's never on my side,
Is there somewhere I can hide?

I once met this guy when he was going out with a friend,
I liked him a lot, so I just waited for them to end.
When they did, I tried but then he drew the line,
I'm not bitter and we still get along just fine.

And I know, luck's never on my side
Is there somewhere I can hide?

I once knew this guy and he knew me quite well,
And how far we'd go, only time would tell.
I just kept wishing, that my luck would hold,
But it fell on me and all the hurt's three-fold.

And I know, Fate's never on my side
And there's nowhere I can hide?

And I know, luck's never on my side
Is there somewhere I can hide?
