	Story Behind the Song There's some cats behind my house that turn into people at night. Or are they people that turn into cats in the day? Anyway, I had an incessant melody building up in my head so I made it about these cat things. Lyrics I hear footsteps outside in my window I feel like hiding under my bed somebody creeps down vampire alley the camera pulls out and fades to red fades to red it's like a neverending record in my head somebody said-or was some old Lakota story I once read one sorrow grows; the other dies off it all depends on which one you fed which one you fed it's like a neverending record in my head I hope it's good for the majority good for the ones we love instead I'm trying to live now with the memory and the implications of what you said of what you said it's like a neverending record in my head in my head... in my head... in my head...
