	Story Behind the Song The path of this song has been an evolutionary one. With Four in the Morning, River Rock, and Cold Blood under our belts, We broke away from the jams that had been the product of our prior sessions. Many of the signature riffs portrayed in songs such as cool outside, mountain people, etc. had been hashed out. Then, one very productive session, Mike and Charlie broke away with a new sound. By the time Travis arrived, they had a set of licks, riffs, and lyrics. We set about structuring these parts as a band, and The Canyon Song happened!
