	Story Behind the Song I set out to do some more groove oriented acid jazz with my QS8.1 and I came up with some fun rhythm tracks based on cliches and quotes from funk tunes I've heard over the years. When I started improvising the horn lines, I came up with more cliche licks. Hence the title, "Been There, Done That." There isn't anyting particularly deep here other than my usuall way of working when I improvise these days. This consists of digging deeper (or at least attempting to)into the parent Mind for all of this stuff I'm putting together. As to nuts and bolts stuff, I used my Tanabe B-flat, a Yamaha YTS 52 a Holton Collegiate slide trombone, the Alesis QS8.1 with Cuebase Virtual Studio. I did the final recording on an old Fostex E16 and mixed it down directly to Sound Forge XP 5.0 from Sonic Foundry.
