	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song a very long time ago but never had lyrics that fit it. We knew the song pretty well and I loved the palm mute thing I made up for the middle so at the last minutes we threw in random lyrics and here they are! It's about a kid who has bad luck, so he does bad thing to change his luck. Lyrics Today is the best, even if i made a lot of mistakes, I confess i'm making things go my way, Thought I failed on the test, but the teached lost them, got in a fight an ex-friend, and I beat him, I skipped gym, and got no detention, i made fun of them, and their fashion, my neighbor is mean, he always calls the police, they chase me, and I think its funny, Its like I got the golden ticket, and im gunna take advantage of it, things like this don't happen you see, so i make them work out for me, didn't make the grade, my parents didn't throw me in the grave, i mis-behaved, got a session but i managed to escape, the cops always came, while i tried to skate, they'd make me leave, but this time i just stayed, Its like I got the golden ticket, and im gunna take advantage of it, things like this don't happen you see, so i make them work out for me
