Lyrics So Much Need Hey you… just thought I’d drop a line… I remember there was a time we couldn’t stop if we tried …guess that’s died… wonder why… I suppose, your attraction to me could have been called “survivor guilt” …maybe mine, to you, the same… But, within this passage of time, the stakes have grown too high …and, emotionally it seems I’m two days short, and $32,000 shy… So, so much for, “…so much within your eyes for me to see” …so much for, “…no place than in your arms I’d rather be” So much for, “… you’re voice… I swear it burns within my ears” … and, “I don’t believe I’ve ever tasted so much salt within your tears” It seems to me a possibility… …distinct and pure within its own blatancy… Shrouded behind your pupils cold black purity… …disguised behind green irises deceitfully… It just doesn’t matter anymore, how hard I haven’t tried I seem to be losing this cold war with the things I hold inside.
