	Story Behind the Song a farewell to dawn was a new age album made for the 3rd millennium in 1987 !! we had some Sara of the sexy voice - we had manfred of the wonderful bouzouki and the original songs of john dignan and of course myself that wrote the words, some songs and tunes, we had don wright and stuart farrar on whistle, we had harpers and a great time with robert at his little 8 track studio. this was a one take wonder where the third time thru I actually manage to make the fiddle sound louder - its not great hifi, it was recorded last century - but hey - someone just ripped us off re style, format, lineup and arrangements so we must have been doing something right - what better compliment can you get these days in the 21st century ??
