Sept. 16 2002 - Brand new melodic piece with a deliberate retro feel. This would have been the kind of music I wanted to make when I started to fiddle around with synths in the 80s, but didn't have the necessary knowledge or equipment back then. Enjoy! :)

Story Behind the Song
I was listening to a lot of music in the early 80s (in my teen years) and was amazed by the work of artists like Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, J. M. Jarre, Kraftwerk, Larry Fast (Synergy), Propaganda and many more, who used synthesizers to create very melodic and sometimes epic pieces. I started to play with synths at a local music store in about 1985 and put together my first compositions. But of course my early pieces where not really of the quality I wanted them to be. I had still to learn alot and I still keep learning today (which will probably never end). However, after all these years I finally found the time and inspiration to put this first piece together, which is hopefully only the beginning of making the kind of music that I had on my mind in those early days, but with the knowledge and equipment that I have available today.
