A melliflouous guitar ballad with improvised melody guitar. |

Story Behind the Song
Being inspired by the great new sounds of my keyboard, I thought to myself, "God damn, I haven't played guitar in a couple days now... why don't I do what I've been wanting to do for a few months now and record some great tracks of keyboard and lay some beautiful guitar over it?"
So, right after this inspirational thought struck, I grabbed my seven string, did some warming up and stretches, and proceeded to improvise a couple takes of guitar over a backing I'd created on keys earlier on in the day. The guitar you hear is the 2nd take... the first was simply terrible: a perfect reason to practice consistently.
And yes, if you listened to it, you're probably thinking, "This guy is a big Vai fan, huh." Yeah, its true... I never learned a single note of his music, but his style was absorbed by musical osmosis, perhaps? Either way, these melliflouous guitar stylings found in this track should please you... if not, you get a full refund, I promise.
Enjoy.
