3 guitars + 'drums'hopefully adds up to a swingin' time on this one, which is basically improv over chord changes very similar to "I Remember You". It begins and ends with two guitars doing simultaneous improv(well, they're both me, so you're just HEARING them simultaneously, but..).#6 in Genre on 12/06/02, and #8 and #9 the two days before that--whatever that means! | MP3.com CD: Home Cookin' - buy it! Story Behind the Song
"Jeg husker dig"(pronouced yai hoos-gah dye)is Danish, word for word, for "I remember you". I was just having fun with the trend to give one's creations 'foreign'(and therefore, at least in our own minds, exotic)titles. My composition teacher at Peabody, Robert Hall Lewis, liked sometimes to give his pieces foreign titles, like "Moto", etc.
Anyway, the musical part of things here is based on the old Jerome Kern/Dorothy Fields tune "I Remember You". Basically just playing over the tune. Hope you all enjoy it.
