	A simple exploration of specific gravity as related to the extraction of elemental substances within a larger matrix.

	Story Behind the Song What begins as a simple chordal progression soon evolves into a multitude of layered parts that create a harmonic stasis that, when juxtaposed against the movement of the chords, creates a tension that remains unresolved until the end. The piece has eleven tracks, all guitar except for two bass tracks. The tracks were recorded, for the most part, in one sitting. Additional parts, effects and mixing took place over several days. Instruments used are a Gretsch BST guitar and a Fender P-bass. All recording, mixing and effects were done in Cubase VST. Some editing was done in Wavelab.
