    Story Behind the Song
    This was originally written in 1987 and tells the story of a trip to The Isle of Wight that we took together when were mere youngsters. It appeared on our first albumn 'Ten Comma Waltz' in 1989, but has only recently taken on a more appealing sound with the inclusion of French Horns in the arrangement. At it's first public performance at the Bell and Pump in Edgbaston, Birmingham, it was heard by the guitarist from the Dubliners who was touring solo at the time. He requested it as part of his repetoire, so taken was he by its charm. Now as we promote our new albumn 'Sun Rising' we feel that it is fitting to include it. Hope you enjoy it!

    Lyrics
    As in the Summer Months, surrounded by the light;
    And through the evening charms we put our fears to flight.
    As fades in dappled tones this restful timeless day,
    You and I my friend will simply drift away.

    On the edge of indifference, but indifferent to naught,
    The parson and the pedagogue both lost in thought.
    Living out their literature in memory and mile,
    And rounding off in Colway bay to drink tea for a while.
