	Story Behind the Song I had written two love songs before this for my ex-boyfriend, John but because his name was not in the songs he had no interest in hearing them. After 5 months of hopeless devotion I decided to write a "dear john" song ( as opposed to a "dear john letter"). Recorded it at the killer Avilon Music Studio in Burbank with my engineer/co-producer extraordinaire Gabriel Heredia. Gab played all the guitars, Dave Norwood played drums and I laid down the keys and all the vocal tracks.
