	Story Behind the Song This song was written to express my sympathies towards an inspirational figure in history, Leonard Peltier. As a leader of the American Indian Movement, he was wrongfully accused of the murder of FBI agents during a standoff on the Oglala Sioux Reservation. Loads of evidence prove that he had nothing to do with the murders but still the courts and government do nothing to bring about his clemency.
