we didn't get a chance to completely finish mixing this song, but dammit it's good enough. it's a pretty rad tune, rather depressive and angry. it introduces the darker side of the indefinitly postponed Ephemeral Flutterby project. "I fear the cracking of my bones may deafen you someday..."
CD: moevi cricket and the ephemeral flutterby   Label: the ether convent
Credits: chamby for his mad engineering skillz

    Story Behind the Song
it's all over for our moevi. his love is gone and he's left haunted by the ghost of his lost happiness. these things bear down on him like a cloud ready to collapse and fall to the earth in desperate raindrops. yeah... sumthin like that.

    Lyrics
laughter is a little girl whose blood is sugared wine and runs all through a scattered scene of leaves and trees and vines. she laughs and beats against my chest and draws her finger to her lip and leans against my open had for me to catch her should she slip.

she chases furry-tailed things in circles round my feet and rolls all down such hills of green holding tight her belly. when i sing to her, she falls asleep, her fingers tangled in my hair and eyes move underneath their lids as golden films are played there.

i watch her at the window now as the marching rains resume. her face as stoic as musashi and her eyes as light as joshu o' laughter there is sickness here and a scent of soft decay and i fear the cracking of my bones may deafen you someday.

so little love spare nothing more on my loose and fragile frame. this sweater still pillows your cheek and it dries your hair of rain. these wooden floors will again echo with the silence you'de removed and everything that you have touched will remain somthing touched by you.
