	A smooth, sexy ballad expressing the uncertanty of ones true feelings about love. A different twist on the "friends turned lovers" scenerio. "Maybe" starts the listener on a slow journey to a cresendo of questions that have obvious answers. A perferct song for first time lovers.

	Story Behind the Song The song "Maybe" was written because of a question asked of producer, Brian K. by a friend. The question was, "Do you think I'm starting to like him because I think about him so much? or do you think it's just 'cause we've been working together so long that I'm getting use to him?" The lyrics take that question to more detail. It's really about wanting to deny that you are falling in love, but aren't really sure how to read all the warning signs that say you are falling in love. The lyrics were written while sitting on a park bench and took three hours to write. We recorded the song in two hours and interestingly enough it was done in just two takes. That made this one of the easiest songs on the album to record. Shannan Elese put a lot of her own experences in thew feel of the song and said at the end of the session, "I really felt that one."
