	Story Behind the Song I was looking at a sculpture which included an inscription where the artist realized that his knocking on a door was futile- he was knocking from the inside. As usual, the line set me off, so I stole it. The song also quotes Kate Bush's "There goes a tenner" (from The Dreaming) as well as a whispered line ("...scared of the changes...") from "Suspended in Gaffa", from the same album. Thanks Kate.
