	Story Behind the Song A friend of the band stopped by to jam with us some and we ended up playing an old ballady riff that Danny wrote. This was the first time Tejas had heard the song and he loved it. Within 10 minutes he churned out some incredible lyrics. I'm not sure how long it took Danny to come up with the guitar part, but we had the song structure worked out in like 20 minutes. When Tejas and I recorded this song, it took about 3 hours. it was mostly trying to get the vocals the exact way we wanted them. The last hour of the recording was probably the best, largely in part to the beer consumption that took place. I believe the beer helped me play a more emotional solo. That friend that stopped by played the bass line for us. He has his own band called "Resident Temple" so if your in the Charlotte area and you see that they are playing, They are definitely worth watching.
