Lernea Hydra is one of the songs Spiro composed in 1997 inspired by a collection of poems "THOMATA" by Dino Makropoulos. The greek folkloric roots are very evident. The poet speaks about the lonelines of the IMMIGRANT likening it to Lernea Hydra, the monster serpent with a 100 heads that Hercules achieved to kill once & for all. This is a first demo featuring Spiro's protege CHRIS PAPSON in a Real Soulful Rendition . REAL GREEK MUSIC WITH POETRY & A TOUCH OF NEW AGE. |
