	This is another traditional Catholic prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. Pope John Paul ll has asked all the faithful to pray this prayer at the end of the daily Rosary for world peace and protection from the evil.

	Story Behind the Song This is my "Irish" song. I know that St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, but somehow I'm hoping he won't mind! I wrote this one day back in 1995 or '96...and have sung it as a part of the Rosary ever since. This last summer, 2002, I added the harmony vocal. Lyrics St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen...
