    Story Behind the Song
I was exploring the horror of HIV and dealing with the fact that it had killed some close friends. I put it into a futuristic context, projecting what I thought would be the final dying days of a planet ravaged by it.

    Lyrics
Humanoids in white coats, working for the Black Hats. Love and broken needles are vehicles of rage. Retroviral random algorhythmic programs. Research, Founding Fathers, purify our race. Unleash the Plague. DNA and FDA, social filters are here to stay. Moving step by goosestep, doing what they tell you. Cogs in the machine, step out of line. Try and fight the Plague. I forsee a time when badges black must be worn. Heads are shaven straight and clean. Blessed be the barcodes, laserscan reveals lifespan. Two to ten cycles of our sun. Two thirds getting thinner, last ditch final effort. Bloody stone walls and shallow graves. Underground is dying, last hope is fading. Laughing vaccination, last thing left alive is Plague.
