	Lyrics Life imprinted by events that have been filled by hate. Slowly turning my heart the color of gray. Ive waited patiently for these thoughts to subside. But the longer I wait the worse they burn in my mind. Fallen once again I try to suppress these scars of hatred. Burning from within one of these days Ill overcome my fears. I wont surrender my pride these experiences have given me strength. To break the chains that have burdened my heart for so long. Constraining the bitterness of memories that feed on my anger. Hatred. a cancer thats been feeding on me since I can remember. The recurrent recollection brings about no justice for my pain. These thought s remain apart of me but mustnt be allowed to plague my mind. Now the time has come to rise from the ashes of a desolate past. And rebuild the man my childhood memories has once aspired. The shattered image swept away and replaced with a face of stone. This heart cries out to avenge myself for the man that this world has broken. No more tears dried away by the harsh reality Im forced to accept. Those times I took no coercive action just to gain an ounce of assertiveness. Those times are no more the final straw has been pulled with a vengeance. I will earn my self respect with this hardened heart and clenched fist. Torment has become a thing of the past Ive renewed my vows. My perception clarified and focused to bring about. Only what my heart desires internal peace. Here is where the first change must occur before. I can extend a hand of hope to others. I search myself to find that peace so violently raped from youth. I cant deny myself what I abhor. I refuse to stand by and watch the situation deteriorate my fate.
