	Story Behind the Song This is the second movement of my symphonic suite depicting the story of a young boy soldier who having enlisted into the British Army travels to the battlefields in northern France. The first two movements are intentionally optimistic as his mind is filled with thoughts of heroic deeds on the battlefield. The third movement (currently being composed) is a lot darker in nature depicting the moments when, upon witnessing the horrors of the trench warfare, he ponders the true nature of war and the ultimate consquences.
