In this song a drunken John McShite sings about the place he lives in and loves; this is a Satire-absurd, sarcastic, ironic, facetious, NOT serious spoof... please do not take it seriously, Besides the guy was drunk when he did it. |
CD: Another Load Of Shite!!!

Lyrics
I'll tell you a tale of old Sunnyside, when me kinfolk from Dublin to the green countryside; and all from the homeland came over this way, to embark on a new life in the grand USA.
Oh how we were so eager, the dreams that we had, to build a brand new world for the young gals and lads; all the stores that we opened, the jobs that we made, when Sunnyside was Irish this town was great.
We would run all the bus lines, we ran the saloons, but now we just run... from the Spics and the Coons. We owned all the houses and controlled city hall, but now we have nothing cause the Jews took it all.
You could ride on the subway to Queens from Midtown, from Woodside to Bayside now everyone's brown. From the Westside to the village lewd vulgar scenes, because now our great city's full of queers and drag queens.
Now the children aren't happy, the times are so bad; to grow up in a world with Arabs and Fags. And on every street corner Hispanic gangs fight, as we hear our German neighbor chanting "Sig Hal" at night.
As I look at the cabbie that's riddled with lice, and the local Arab salesman that reeks of shit and dead mice. Oh how I'd love to get away from the stink, but some Puerto Ricans stole my car... so I'll just sit here and drink.
Oh the poor Irish children it's such a bad time, to grow up in a town with black induced crime. All the Hindus and Muslims, the Buddhists and Jews, we're so damn outnumbered that we're pretty much screwed.
(Pretty Much Screwed)
...So get me my booze.
