	Story Behind the Song Tony's move to Los Angeles resulted in "The hungry days," he laughs. He found monetary salvation through an unlikely source: Cruise ships. Making money and being isolated allowed Tony to concentrate on writing his own music. He recorded demos as waves crashed against the portholes on the endless blue sea. As a musical director, Tony was also in charge of choosing the players, and his ensemble background served him well as he assembled groups and dealt with the dynamics of a tightly-oiled working band. "I don't want to leave" is a tribute to all the Years working aboard cruise ships and all the relationships that developed as a result. Lyrics 1.
