	(8/2002) OK, this one's pretty morbid! I'd been playing with the guitar part for months, trying to figure out what to do with it. Although it almost sounds like 2 guitar tracks, it's just one, bar chords strummed low and high. I used a standard drumtrack from the digital studio, but added the ride cymbal, toms, and crash cymbal manually with my new BOSS digital drum machine. The lyrics... Well, I made up the 7th verse first ("But the Joe we know could hurt no one..."), while playing the guitar, then put the guitar down and formed the "story" around that verse. I don't know where the idea came from. It's purely fictional, although I'm sure it's made people wonder about me! I guess I watch too many true-crime shows.
