	Story Behind the Song This song was written on a barstool at brutal DLX' residence gig after hearing that a band I left to form brutal DLX had just gone on a great European festival tour. Sometimes the big choices aren't big choices at all: just a bunch of little choices you have to make over and over again, with consistency. Lyrics staring out the window on such a rainy day dreams and schemes and ferris wheels are oh so far away and while i sit right here it's right here i will stay so i let my soul awaken and my mind drift away but have i lost again? what have i lost again? it maybe my mind it maybe my mind it maybe my mind while i watch the clock on the wall waiting to begin golden opportunity has tarnished into tin my heart wonders why and my soul wonders when and i pray my legs will carry me until the buzz sets in up like a daisy smelling like a rose of all the endless possibilities the ones i never chose all come streaming back to me like I cut off my own nose and all the while i try to tell myself the door will never close
