Story Behind the Song
Me and my good freind Jeff were sitting on his porch in 1968. He had a Fender Mustang and I had Fender Strat. We were playing through this cheap Radio Shack Amp with a lot of reverb. He played the Ryhtmn and I wrote the lead. I remember his pretty mom coming out with a mixing bowl, sitting in the breeze and listening. She actually teared up and told us we were great, even thoough we did have dirty long hair.
