Do big, deep eyes do it for you? Perhaps it's time you considered the satisfaction only the googly eyes of a squid can offer you!!

    Story Behind the Song
I wrote the music one morning before a fishing trip. Whilst in the boat, I wasn't catching much, so I tried to think up suitable lyrics for the music, and noticed how large the eyes on a squid we'd caught were. Thinking of the large eyes in Japanese Animation, and how some people really find it quite attractive, the song was made then and there. I recorded it that night.

    Lyrics
I fell in love with a squid
With those big and googly eyes!

I don't care what women do with their clothes,
It makes no difference to me there hair styles...
Make-up doesn't make me leap, that's just not my show,
All I care about is big, beautiful eyes!

And the deeper they are, the longer I stare,
And the brighter they are, the lovelier,
    And the bigger they are, the more I enjoy them;
Big round beautiful eyes are my gems!

So when my friends took me fishing
And I hooked onto some Calamari,
I found the answer to what I'd been wishing...
It was love on the high seas!

I fell in love with a squid
With those big and googly eyes!

Oh, I've never been one for resting in arms,
I get no joy from girls sitting on my lap...
It's just not my style, and yet I've got no qualms
    With resting in suction caps.

    And I've never really found
    It enjoyable kissing,
But, trust me, you'll never turn it down
    Once you've tasted that ink...

So now we're married, had four children,
Two squid, one human, and a piece of weed,
We've beaten the odds, we're still together,
I still love her eyes, and she still loves my fish feed!
