	Story Behind the Song My son Michael's music class was having a "musical parents" week thing and of course I signed up for it. I procrastinated and didn't have anything planned to play for them until the very night before. That night I wrote this short instrumental piece to play for them. The next day I brought my guitar, a couple of amps, my drum unit, and my Pod to the school and played this song for the kids live. We all had a great time -- me especially. I named this song after their school, "Saratoga Elementary". The first part of the song (they didn't hear) is a somewhat artistic-theatrical intro to the actual song (I got to play some piano chops on this one). It gets HEAVY after that so hang tough until the end. Thanks to Ms. Estes and the kids at Saratoga for letting me play for them (3/8/2001)! You made me feel very welcome.
