	Story Behind the Song It's not legally a chaccone; it lost its liscence when it was three. This song represents my latest attempt to pace my music better. I got tired of organizing grooves into "songs" and tried to do something less electronica-sounding (more conventionally like classical/jazz). I tried to focus on the melodic and harmonic elements, and the whole structure. Blah blah blah! Chaccone: originally a dance of 3-in-a- measure rhythm, and the mus. was erected on a Ground Bass. Ground Bass: Short thematic idea in the bass which is constantly repeated with changing harmonies while upper parts proceed and vary. Idea: Something, such as a thought or conception, that potentially or actually exists in the mind as a product of mental activity. Something: pron. An undetermined or unspecified thing: “We're all recalling something, furtively seeking something” (Virginia Woolf). n. A remarkable or important thing or person: He thinks he is something in that uniform. A: Used before nouns and noun phrases that denote a single but unspecified person or thing: a region; a person.
