	Story Behind the Song "Over And Out" Recorded using Reason Software to create the rythmic section Tabla Snare hats and fat bass drum an old 808 sample given the maxbass plug in treatment. Then using rewire and Cubase VST 5 .1 r1 we added hard disk tracks of the eastern male vox you hear in the begining and added a touch of eq to take the bass out a little, to suit the basic rythmic back bone of the track ...Then the eastern drone and koto kinda riff were sourced from (a friends mac and absynth) I took midi files and a dcc round to get those parts the way they are now ...(God We must have Absynth !) I had some Korg Z1 Stuff going on but it sounded a bit un-organic ! ....enter Absynth ! .... Anyhow i then wanted a washy sound over the vocals and koto sound , so i got two seperate Ohmboyz Delay Plug ins and set them up to sync and do there wonderfull things on the sound .The next bit was to take the track to a new level so i added the break and harp run to throw it into its dark crawling vibe it takes on ...This was also partly due to the more percussive and faster grooves used, to build it up. The dark sound growling is a preset on the FM7 VSTi,s Bank Called Andromeda Its well dark and sinister ....Then the use of the hoover sound was used to add a sense of edginess by gating a single note, and ading a rising filter sweep lo to high, on top of a rising pitch bend , This had great effect when i used a little of my vst sends reverb and mod delay.... After adding our own vocal lines to boost the energy here and there we were getting some shape to the whole thing and it seemed we needed a tempo change (Cause we like to mess the dj up) So at the next break we boosted our original tempo of 105Bpm to 150 Bpm ...Then came the Drum and Bass kinda ryhum sections and a few more sounds and arrangments to keep it flowing ....
