	Story Behind the Song Written for my wife, Annemarie, as our wedding song. Really just a simple attempt to capture the beauty and intimacy of the moment in time when our life began. This song was very difficult to write since I was trying to imagine how I would feel on the best day of my life... trying to describe the undescribable, where words could never be enough. I agonized over practically every word because I wanted it to be "just right." The music actually came to me much more freely, and when I finished the song (written on guitar), I knew I'd need some help from Chris & Matt Byrd to really develop the song into a fuller potential and more beauty. From the very beginning I had a sonic vision of a piano/guitar piece with the gorgeous hammer dulcimer accenting the melodies. When Chris, Matt, & I got together to work on the song for the first time, it was as if they'd read my mind - the parts they played were absolutely perfect. We recorded in my new home studio only weeks before the wedding and Matt & Chris didn't even hear the final mix until the wedding itself when my bride & I danced at the reception. And my wife absolutely loves her song.
