    Story Behind the Song
Just a bit tired of hearing men and women in country music singing songs about getting their hearts broken by cheaters, I thought about the possiblity of a woman telling a man he broke her heart by being too faithful. So I wrote this song to express the possibility.

    Lyrics
    Broke Your Heart

I'm wondering about the time I broke your heart
Remember when told me it was true?
You've gone and made a brand new start
Now I'm questioning who hurt whom

If I recall how things occurred
You told me that you'd found somebody new
What you said next was quite absurd
    My faithfulness was killing you

Now I wonder just what you were looking for and why we are apart
I thought about it 'til my head was sore; Honey, tell me about the time I broke your heart
Tell me 'bout the time I broke your heart (3X)……C'mon Honey, tell me.

I saw you on the town with your new beaux
You told me that he's hard to keep in line
His wandering eyes and hands worry you so
But at least it keeps you busy all the time

Maybe, just maybe I'm a little slow
And it's been said that you're a breed apart
There's still one thing that I would like to know
Tell me about the time I broke your heart.

I still can't figure out what you were looking for or why we are apart
I'm confused about who showed whom the door
Tell me again about the time I broke your heart
