	Story Behind the Song Xavier gave me melodies to five song and this one stuck in my mind. Flying back from seeing Johnny Lang at the House of Blues Las Vegas with my close friend Joaquina I wrote the lyrics with here giving me feedback. Less then an hour Pieces started coming to life. It's the song of us women who have experience the harsh side of a man. It represents the dream woman have of finding a trusting nice guy. Lyrics "You took my heart away then gave it back in PIECES" This was the words that came to me to immediately hearing Xavier's great melody. For weeks this was the only lyrics in my head just the start. Until flying home from a Johnny Lang concert.
